Hey, it’s Brandon, the dude behind the cam! While pictures speak a thousand words — and hopefully mine speak for themselves — I get that a huge part of your decision hinges on knowing who will be showing up to document your big day, whether it’s your wedding, senior session, fam pics or anything else we can dream up together. I’m a fun guy but I take that responsibility seriously — so, this is me, in a nutshell!

I’m a guy who loves living life as much as I love capturing it. When I’m working behind the camera, I try to match your vibe and meet you where you’re at — want me to be a quiet little fly on the wall? Check. Want me to join in the fun so you feel comfortable and natural? Double check. I’m here to capture your story and set your mind at ease. Maybe you’re nervous, or feeling awkward, or think you look bad in pictures so you skip preserving these important moments — that’s a shame. Believe me, I hear this all. the. time. You are not alone in feeling this way and you are so much more beautiful than you think! Especially when you look like yourself in the final images, which is the highest compliment I can get as a photographer. Here’s what we’re not gonna do: some stiff, formal, posed Walmart headshot, circa 2005 (trust me, I know that pain — my mom still has mine hung on her wall). I’m all about being authentic and nothing about a photo session should feel like a chore. Life is too short for that nonsense — so let’s get candid and carefree. We’re gonna laugh, we’re gonna have fun, and I’m gonna make you forget I’m there so that together we can capture your authentic YOU.

When I’m not taking pictures, I love to hop a flight or hit the road to meet new people and see new places. I dig all things travel, especially hiking to new heights to capture images I’d have missed if I weren’t so driven to explore. But I’m just as happy getting loose back home, sipping craft beers and devouring fried cheese curds with my buddies on the patio like the born-and-bred Sconnie that I am. I’m a big music guy, especially 90s punk rock — just throw on some Weezer and surround me with good people for some good eats and belly laughs and I’m livin’ the dream.

Speaking of livin’ the dream, most days I still pinch myself that I get to make a living doing what I love, because I’ve never wanted anything else. I fell in love with photography when I was 16, after my grandma gifted me my first camera. From that first click, I was hooked. Through photography, I found a way to express myself. But through my photography business, I found a way to connect with other people and give back to this stellar trip we call life by turning their best moments into something tangible they can keep, freezing those magical moments in time, forever.

Are you next? Let’s do this!
